First, setting grow=0 gives the following results for the 2 iodine exposures of PHL957 on Oct 3, 2004 when compared to the old reduction results:


The residuals between the two is shown in the following plot (velocity in m/s vs. Wavelength in Angstroms)


Which near the lines at the worst point corresponds to about 25 m/s difference from the previous reduction (this compares to a 400 m/s effect measured from peak to peak).


Finally, a very interesting result so far for the star calibration (Oct 4th iodine exposures of Peg23) :
